Before becoming a therapist, I served for 15 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, including time with the Special Forces. That experience shaped how I show up: grounded, empathetic, and attuned to the weight people often carry beneath the surface.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe therapy works best when we are real with one another. You do not need to perform or explain things perfectly—just come as you are. I am trained in the Gottman Method and Emotion-Focused Therapy for Couples, and I hold a certificate in perinatal mental health. I draw from a variety of theories and modalities, tailoring my approach to fit the unique needs and preferences of each client. I work with adults, couples, and teens navigating stress, relationship difficulties, identity, trauma, or life transitions. I often integrate psychoeducation into sessions to support long-term insight and self-trust. Our sessions together can be carried out in English or French.

Whether you are working through something specific or simply looking for more clarity, I will walk alongside you, without judgment, at your pace. Therapy is not always easy—but it does not have to be intimidating. Finding the right fit matters. If you are ready to explore how we might work together, I would be honoured to hold space for your story.

Hi, I’m Alex Before becoming a therapist-in-training, I spent 14 years in law enforcement, including time as a tactical team leader. That experience gave me a deep understanding of what it’s like to carry high stress, witness trauma firsthand, and still try to show up like everything’s fine.

I know how hard it can be to take the first step into therapy, which is why I place a strong emphasis on establishing a genuine connection based on trust and why I commit to maintaining a judgement-free zone for those looking to overcome the shame often associated with symptoms of trauma.

Getting support when you need it is a sign of strength, not weakness. Bettering yourself is not something to be looked down on.

Hi, I’m Nadia

Starting therapy can feel like a lot. You might be overwhelmed, stuck, or just unsure of what comes next. Whatever’s going on, I’m here to offer a space that feels calm, honest, and supportive.

I work with people going through all kinds of life struggles—stress, anxiety, big changes, or that hard-to-name feeling that something’s off. I don’t follow a rigid formula. We’ll figure things out together in a way that fits you.

I show up as a real person, and I think therapy works best when it feels like a conversation, not an evaluation. You don’t have to have the right words or a clear plan—I’ll meet you where you are and go from there.

Hi, I’m Zoë

You might be in a season of change—grieving something unspoken, navigating a shift in your identity, or sensing that something inside you is ready to move… even if you’re not sure how. Maybe words don’t come easily, or the ones you do find don’t quite capture what you’re feeling. That’s okay. Therapy doesn’t have to look one way.

I work with youth, adults, and couples who are exploring grief, trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel like they’re in the in-between—no longer where they were, but not quite sure where they’re going. Together, we create space to notice what’s alive in you, what feels stuck, and what might be ready to shift.

My approach is collaborative, creative, and deeply respectful. You bring your lived experience and inner wisdom; I bring my training, presence, and a wide range of tools to help us tune in. That might look like talking, storytelling, image-making, movement, or simply sitting with what’s true. We’ll find what fits.

This work doesn’t need to be polished or serious all the time. Sometimes, healing comes through imagination, humor, or following a moment of curiosity. All parts of you are welcome here—even the quiet, messy, or hard-to-explain ones.

Hi, I’m Prapti!

Life gets complicated, and sometimes it feels like you’re carrying too much on your own. My role isn’t to give you a script for how to live, but to sit with you in the hard parts and help you find what actually works for you.

Being a first-generation Indian-Canadian and a woman of colour, I know what it’s like to move between different worlds—balancing expectations, figuring out identity, and dealing with systems that don’t always make space for who you are. My own experiences with mental health shape the way I work: with honesty, empathy, and respect for the strength it takes to show up, even when things feel messy.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Some people come in wanting practical tools, others want space to untangle what’s underneath. Most of the time, it’s a bit of both. My focus is on helping you build confidence, gain clarity, and reconnect with parts of yourself that might have been buried under stress, pressure, or self-doubt.

Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about making sense of your story, your way, and finding the kind of change that actually lasts.

Hi, I’m Ioana Being human is hard sometimes. Therapy should help—not make it harder. If you’re looking for real, down-to-earth therapy (without the clinical stiffness), you’re in the right place.

I work with adults and teens navigating a variety of mental health struggles. My approach is deeply relational and flexible—I draw from IFS (Internal Family Systems), Polyvagal theory, Somatic Experiencing, narrative therapy, EMDR, and Gottman, adapting in real time to meet you exactly where you are.

One of the most important things to know about me is that I show up as a real person first, and a therapist second. I don’t believe in hierarchy—I believe in collaboration. You bring the lived experience—I bring the tools, curiosity, and support. Together, we make sense of your story in a way that feels grounded and real.

My sessions are built on authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. I integrate a lot of psychoeducation along the way to reduce shame, build understanding, and help you feel empowered in your own process. Whether you’re working through trauma, navigating neurodivergence, or just trying to make sense of it all—I hold a space where all parts of you are welcome.
